Former Dacula quarterback, Terry Harvey, and Parkview offensive lineman, Jon Stinchcomb, have been nominated for the Georgia High School Football Hall of Fame 2023. Harvey, a 1990 Dacula graduate, and Stinchcomb, a 1997 Parkview alumnus, both hold spots in the Gwinnett County Sports Hall of Fame.
They join fellow nominees Jeff Backus, a 1995 Norcross offensive lineman, and linebacker Rennie Curran, a 2006 Brookwood graduate. Jeff Saturday, a former Hebron Christian football coach and 1992 Shamrock graduate, also returns to the ballot this year.
A board composed of 30 individuals – including former and current coaches, athletes, administrators, and media personnel – is set to finalize voting this month. They will select the 40 inductees for the Class of 2023. The official induction ceremony is scheduled for October 21 at the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta.
